Economic Security Planning, Inc., is dedicated to ensuring our websites and financial planning applications, MaxiFi and Maximize My Social Security, are accessible to as many visitors as possible regardless of their ability or technology.
To that end, we strive to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0, Level AA criteria. We employ both frequent automated tests and manual testing to find errors and review their resolution.
We are committed to responding to and correcting any issues that are brought to our attention in a timely matter. If we are unable to fully support a WCAG guideline, we will post information on this page. At this time, we do not support two of the WCAG guidelines:
- Guideline 1.2.4 requires captions for live audio content. We only host a few webinars or live events each month, and none are required for using the software, but our current webinar platform does not support live closed captioning. We are evaluating replacement platforms. We also post recordings of many webinars to YouTube where captioning is applied.
- Guideline 1.2.5 requires audio descriptions for prerecorded video content. Most videos we provide are self-explanatory. However, if you do find that an audio description is required for understanding a video, please contact us and provide the video title or URL and we can provide a description upon request.
